title: "Don't Say PC When You Mean Windows"

"PC" stands for "personal computer". Windows is one of a countless number of operating systems that can run on PCs.

Occasionally the terms "PC" and "Windows" are used interchangeably. I ask people not to do this because:

* It may confuse laypeople
* It may confer a sense of primacy to Windows and secondariness to other operating systems

If you catch someone using these terms interchangeably, please explain why they should not do this.
